25.05.2001 :

Storyreading at the High Court ( 3rd day of court case)

The day started with applications of the defence counsel opposing the introduction of former court decisions.

Founded were these applications with the courts obligation to speed up the process and associated unreasonable strain for Sabine E. who is not in good health. Furthermore counsel suggested the introduction of the documents through the self-reading-procedure.

Court decided after a short break to turn down the applications. The Presiding Judge Hennig gave no reason for the following read out of two court decisions dated 1980 and 1998.

Read out of parts of court decisions.

The High Court in Frankfurt/M convicted the student Leyla B. on May 22. 1980 and sentenced her tor 2 years on parole for the support of the Revolutionary Cells. The confirmation of a unified organisatory structure in the RZ was herein supported by another decision of the High Court in Düsseldorf from the 19th January 1979 against Gerd Albartus and Enno Schwall: the exact structure, the number of the members and an indication for a central guidance and planning of the activities remained unproven, but with the help of the common publication "Revolutionary Zorn" there is a confirmation for a organisatory unity of comrades with a practical and ideological training and a community feeling. Furthermore more than 20 explosive and arson attacks between 1973 and 1978 were related within the RZ in this respect.

In a different decision of the High Court in Stuttgart in 1998 , Corinna K. was convicted of membership in the "Red Zora" and sentenced to 18 months on parole. She went underground at the end of 1987 shortly before a nationwide search of the BKA, lived outside of the country and turned herself in in 1995.

The read parts of the decisions focus essentially on the self determination, the actions and the structure of the Red Zora and the relationship between the Red Zora and the Revolutionary Cells as viewed by the High Courts.

Three more documents were introduced to the court case today by way of the self-reading-procedure:
parts of court decisions from the High Court in Frankfurt from 15.12.1982 and from the High Court Duesseldorf dated 10.06.1985 as well as the complete decision of the High Court in Berlin against Tarek Mousli , dated 18.12.2000.

State of health of Sabine E.
